Money Sense – School Bank
What is Money Sense?
Money Sense is the school bank from NatWest, which operates in Primary and Secondary schools throughout the Uk. The programme was set up by the bank to develop business and financial skills among young people. Launched in 1994, over 30,000 schools in England and Wales participate each year.
NatWest srongly believes that young people should have the opportunity to learn the skills to enable them to make informed choices and take effective financial decisions in later life.
Different accoounts are available for students of different ages. NatWest offers a ‘Young Saver’ savings account for children under 11. Students aged 11-18 open an ‘Adapt’ current account (for which a cash card is available on application). You can find out more about these accounts at www.natwest.com or click on the link below.
